Lennette has worked over 30 years in Social Services with substance abuse, domestic violence, homelessness, and prostitution. Lennette volunteered with Alternate to Violence Project-USA, she facilitated and trained inmates to learn new skills and attitudes that lead to fulfilling and crime free lives. Lennette presently volunteers with the Kairos Prison Ministry.
Lennette’s personal history with substance abuse, domestic violence, and her relationship with the Lord is the driving force behind her passion and vision to work with women and children. Lennette’s experiences will provide counseling and case management expertise to the women and children at This is Our House.
Drew Doll Coordinates the Reentry Ministry of the Religious Coalition for a Nonviolent Durham. In that role he recruits, trains and supports volunteers to sit in circle with individuals exiting incarceration. He also works one-on-one with individuals returning from prison. Drew has 30 years of experience in the military (USMC), Public Accounting (Arthur Andersen) and business (Halstead, Ingersoll-Rand, MTS, ECS) and spent nearly 4 years in state prison due to a conviction for embezzlement. Following prison, Drew determined to make a positive impact in the community and now works with nonprofits focused on improving the lives of the economically and socially disadvantaged.
Tanya Washington started her career over 20 years ago in the social service field as a case manager working with individuals and their children. Tanya has worked at various social services agencies
throughout the Chicagoland area providing various aspects of care.
Tanya’s work experience includes providing case management and counseling services. Tanya’s focus is providing strengths based, trauma informed care to individuals across the life-span, from diverse
backgrounds, and walks of life.
Tanya is dedicated to helping individuals discover life beyond their challenges and situations. Tanya is drawn to working with people from various racial, cultural, and economic backgrounds. Tanya’s
compassionate and warm approach allows individuals to feel heard, understood, and supported.
Michelle McNeil is a native of Wilson, NC and currently lives in Chapel Hill with her husband, Ervin. She is a mother of three, and grandson to one. She attended Winston Salem State University, and later pursued a degree in Business Administration and Early Childhood Education.
Michelle has recently transitioned from the workforce in the nonprofit world where she worked 13yrs with an organization that assisted families who had children with critical life-threatening illnesses. Michelle knows first-hand the direct impact of what it means to receive support from a nonprofit organization when a family is in a health crisis.
In her previous employment, she has served in various roles as a House Manager, Family Support Coordinator and Parent Support Volunteer. She has also served in many leadership roles on UNC ‘s Family Advisory Board as a Volunteer Parent Advisor, and Secretary.
Fran is a retired high-tech executive whose working life ranged from international account executive to founding member of a software firm in 1998, which was acquired by IBM.
Following Ms. Lynch’s retirement in 2009 her principal interest was in nonprofit organizations with the objective of assisting individuals who need a second chance at life. As a member of United Women of Faith, she supports and is involved in the following second chance programs: MATCH Program (Mothers and Their Children). MATCH helps break the cycle of children following their mother’s footsteps to prison. Kairos Inside which creates Christian communities inside prisons that can transform lives, decrease prison violence, and reduce recidivism. Circles of Support and Accountability (CoSA) focuses on the safe reintegration of people returning home from incarceration—usually high-risk, high-needs people convicted of a sexual offense. She is also engaged in other programs that address the school to prison pipeline, the need for school supplies and other educational essentials.
Diana is a trained teacher and school administrator with over 20 years experience. She has taught children and adults in various settings and countries as well as writing curriculum both for in person and online environments. She has been in charge of setting up and developing programs to support students needing additional support and for those who need enrichment.
She served as guardian ad litem for several years before she and her husband became foster parents in 2020. They have fostered almost 20 children. As a foster mom, she works diligently with the birth families to facilitate relationships with the children as well as working with DSS and other agencies to advocate and ensure the children have what they need. She enjoys the privilege of coming alongside birth moms and supporting them through some of the hardest days of their lives. Many of them struggle with drug addictions and are working to improve their lives to provide a safe and stable home for their children. Both through training and experience she is able to serve as a friend, mentor, and advocate for these women.
Will is a proud double Tar Heel, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Public Relations in 2021 and a Master’s in Accounting in 2022 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During his time at KPMG, where he worked in public accounting for two years, Will earned his CPA and developed a strong foundation in financial strategy and compliance. Currently, he applies his expertise in the tax department at Aspida, contributing to impactful decision-making and organizational growth.
Will’s passion for serving others was instilled early in life, rooted in the values of leadership, integrity, and community he developed as an Eagle Scout. These principles have guided him throughout his academic and professional journey, shaping his commitment to making a meaningful impact. Will is driven by a deep desire to give back. He has channeled his skills and leadership into supporting nonprofits, striving to empower communities and advance missions that align with his values of sustainability, creativity, and connection.
